Sea Blite
Suaeda maritima
Sea blite is a bush-like plant with fleshy and succulent leaves, with a semi-circular shape, plane in its upper side and breached at the end. Sometimes it can present much shorter leaves, similar to a banana bunch, among longer leaves. The color is typically green but can be red or purple.
Sea Blite RiaFresh® has a well-marked taste of salinity, and some notes of earth, being different from all other marine vegetables. Brilliant performance in warm dishes (eggs, mushrooms), hot dishes (fish and seafood) and possibly pickles.
