Slenderleaf Ice Plant*

Mesembryanthemum nodiflorum

Slenderleaf ice plant receives this name due to the vesicles shaped as small brilliant bubbles covering it. The leaves are small and fleshy and hold a delicate yellow flower with white leaves. The colour of its tissues varies between green, yellow, orange and even purple.

Slenderleaf Ice Plant Riafresh® is a very decorative green, with a slightly salty flavour, but also citric and acidic.

Properties

Slenderleaf Ice Plant RiaFresh® is rich in proteins, dietary fibers, vitamin B6, chromium and manganese. It is a source of calcium. It contains ß-carotene, lutein, phenols, flavonoids and tannins. It is a source of copper; copper contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system.
